<aside> 💡 What is this?
We wanted to create the ultimate Open Job Ad so that companies could ensure applicants could really get a sense for who they were applying to.
We spent several months trying to find the perfect one. We studied 1000+ and ultimately failed. Whilst doing so however we found a bunch of companies who did certain sections extremely well - (h/t Sourcegraph, Cal.com, Buffer, Gitlab and Posthog) so decided that rather than trying to find the perfect one we’d curate the best bits into a single unified template for People and Talent Leaders like you to use as inspiration to:
Attract and repel the right talent.
Hope it’s useful to you - take it make it your own
Love, the open org team ❤
P.s If you love this, why not join one of Open Org’s upcoming cohorts & bootcamps 🏕️, or join our Community; specifically for progressive People & Talent folks passionately accelerating transparency at work

In no particular order:
Open Job Ads clearly state the company's mission and vision, giving applicants an idea of the larger goal they would be contributing to.
Open Job Ads mention the company's achievements, customer base, mini-history/timeline and funding, which not only builds credibility but also gives a sense of the company's financial stability and ambition.
Open Job Ads specify what kind of ‘remote’ they practice with extreme clarity and outline the time zones, core hours and expectations that applicants need to overlap with, providing clarity on work-life expectations.
